Custom Adaptations Gallery
Wallpaper is a flexible medium that I can manipulate to fit a variety of spaces and custom designs. For example, the pattern on a hand painted scenic can be customized to fit a client’s unique room space. Or the hanger can cut elements from a traditional paper and apply them in unique patterns requested by the decorator. I have also combined various wallpaper elements (borders, embellishments, and complementary papers) to meet a client’s specific requests. I make a point of discussing various options with my clients and enjoy the process of creative collaboration. I can provide schematics to help visualize the end result or elevation drawings that a design team uses to develop such schematics. In all cases, the goal is to reach a successful outcome. -
Gilded Leather Gallery
Gilded and embossed leather panels are recreated in European studios by artisans familiar with the designs and techniques of 16th century leather makers from Flanders, Spain and Italy. These panels add a rich and distinctive look to a room that no other product can duplicate. They are a luxurious wall decoration that harkens back to a time when a man's home was, literally, his castle. -
Victorian Room Sets Gallery
The Victorian Period was a golden era for wallpaper decoration. It was common for wallpaper to adorn both ceiling and walls, often consisting of fill papers, borders, dados, friezes and embellishments. In recent years there has been a revival of these intricate designs, which require thoughtful planning, patience and careful execution. When done well the results are stunning! -
Scenics and Panoramas Gallery
Scenics and panoramas are generally very expensive products. My careful measurements and attention to detail allow me to estimate the right amount of product for a given space. Since these high-end papers are often the central design element in a room, I work closely with the decorator and homeowner in choosing the best option for a given room. I believe communication is important and will prepare elevation diagrams to show options for positioning the pattern on the walls.
